Just sat down. I have been at the studio since 9, rendering my ob section. It took that long. I have one more to render, and one more to draw.... and perspectives. Slay me now.   I will need to put all of that together, into a nice pretty document (it will be hygue). I also need to start doing my opportunity district plan. That will be interesting. Oh, and a kijillillionbillion other stuff. 

Managed to attempt going to the gym tonight, but was caught up and left early to go to church. I accomplished:
leg extensions-4 sets
lying leg curls- 4 sets
conventional squats- i did my first work set of 185 and had to leave, who know what lbs I could had done. I was a little tired and my hips were sore from sprinting at the softball game monday in the cold....no proper warm up or stretching, dumb me.

I just feel so hungry and tired all of the time these days. My learning skills book says it is a way that I procrastinate. orrrr.... I am taking 19 hours, 17 of which are studio hours, and I have a crap ton of work all the time. I try to do all of that, then miss meals, and miss an hour or two  of sleep here or there. I then will go to the gym every 3 or 4 days (if am lucky), burn up what little conserved energy I have, then crash and binge and crash.

The Lords day.

Today was nice. Went to class and worship this morning. Two inspiring lessons: defining Gods love..is it all encompassing and lubby dubby, or tough love?, and on how vengeance is the Lords...turn the other cheek, etc. 

Had a good chest workout today

Single arm cable flys, 5 sets
Flat bench barbell press, 3 sets 
Flat bench dumbell flys, 3 sets
Incline dumbell press, 2 sets
Dips, 3 sets

Seated DB curls, 3 sets

No pr's today, but it was a solid workout. I do not flat bench regularly anymore, just decline/ incline presses and dips for my compound chest movements. I still like to start off with an isolation exercise first, to pre-exhaust. I believing in lifting heavy, but also staying smart.

Old Man Willlow

We grilled last night in the green. That was fun. The green is so small compared to the parking lots and buildings it was intimidating though...design flaw? Woke up this morning, the room mate had brought in some tasty donuts....I had three, sooo good. or was it four....  Then we went and helped with some creek restoration again. Showed some boy scouts what was up with crape myrtle planting. Now I am home, contemplating the afternoon.

I slept four hours yesterday after classes. I slept a good eight-plus last night. I am looking forward to today.

Well. Ending up waking up with a stomach ache in the middle of the night, ugh. So, feeling rough today. Oh well. Its pretty awesome outside..sunny, good breeze, I just want to lay outside for a bit.

Hamstring Day

Today was my first hamstring oriented workout in over 3 weeks. It felt pretty good, I was decently rested and fed as well. Spent about two hours in the gym, which was a while for me. I do not do marathon workouts anymore.

-Ran up the stairs 8 times
-5 sets of lying leg curls
-5 super-setted sets of wide and high leg presses (single leg and regular)
-5 sets romanian deadlifts... worked up to 225 deep, strict and slow reps
-3 sets of standing leg curls...slow deliberate reps
-5 sets box squats (aprox 10")
-3 sets of single leg db stiff leg deads

-3 sets of seated calves
-3 sets of donkey calves

-10 mins on the stepmill, interval, level 6


It felt good to be in the gym again. I used to think I would always have time for the gym, funny how you can change.

Beyond high school myspace rants and facebook notes I have never blogged. I wanted to see what it would be like to keep a 'journal.'
