Today was my first hamstring oriented workout in over 3 weeks. It felt pretty good, I was decently rested and fed as well. Spent about two hours in the gym, which was a while for me. I do not do marathon workouts anymore.
-Ran up the stairs 8 times
-5 sets of lying leg curls
-5 super-setted sets of wide and high leg presses (single leg and regular)
-5 sets romanian deadlifts... worked up to 225 deep, strict and slow reps
-3 sets of standing leg curls...slow deliberate reps
-5 sets box squats (aprox 10")
-3 sets of single leg db stiff leg deads
-3 sets of seated calves
-3 sets of donkey calves
-10 mins on the stepmill, interval, level 6
It felt good to be in the gym again. I used to think I would always have time for the gym, funny how you can change.
